    Applied a "Photocopy" filter, used "Select by colour" tool to select and delete the white and then colourised the remaining lines to the desired hue. I then laid that network of blue lines over the original image and tuned the opacity down and they saturation up to get this result:

    You're going to struggle to get any kind of quality out of that as information that doesn't exist can't be created. I've given it a shot, but your vector version is pretty respectable, in my opinion (albeit not the same as the original image).

    And what ratio is this profile picture to be? 1:1? Also, what shape? Square or round? A full brief makes it more likely your request will be fulfilled.

    Simple enough - Colorized the whole image orange (to equalize) and then desaturated it. ZIP with TIF attached.
