    I lost my color picker?

Negative Steve... I made sure. When I select colors for type, I simply click the box in the tool bar across the top .. but I also just tried the foreground/background boxes down on the lower left per your suggestion: same/same. I get a master box 'COLORS' with sub choices of: The Color...

    I lost my color picker?

In earlier v. of Pshp I had a 'Color Picker' .. a large box where you could move the cursor around and it would change the color of type or a background as you watched. Now I have these damn sliders .. or stoopid crayons where I have to click on 'OK' to see what I've got.. This is in CS5...

    Suggestions about a web design

Since nobody touched this.. Taste and design ethic is so very personal, I would probably never ask someone to review something I did unless I was in a class in art school. For me, I am the final critic. If someone does not understand or appreciate my vision, so be it. ... 'having said; If...

    Hi all...

Hawkeye - Your Mom was one of the 'fortunates'. That area is a special part of the Shore. I'm well south. After living in a very mellow Wisconsin, interesting Boston, Toronto, etc ....when we moved here, it was like being dropped back into the early 50's. It seemed like every other sentence...

    Hi all...

I'm Jim from the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I have used Photoshop for perhaps 15 years. Like any tool, I may have not progressed too much beyond my first six months. I can do the basics and then reach out for help when I am stuck .. like I was with Neon colors. I basically use photoshop...

    My Neon colors suck...

DU: Good thought. I have some gray plastic that looks like cardboard that the sigh trade uses: Coreplast. It comes in 4x8ft sheet for about $8. Lots of colors including a "clear' that is cool. Cheers. Jim

    My Neon colors suck...

Gau... My ADD did not allow me the time to figure out how to 'mask' each color, but I did find another button. (Us Mac types tend to push a lot of buttons rather than RTFM.) The button I found was Vibrance under Adjustments. Hells Bells .. that punched up the colors real well. Here's just...

    My Neon colors suck...

Gau... A) I am going to re-shoot them. I shot these under a somewhat translucent, White cloth 'cover' for a better word to get a more even light without heavy shadows. I will re-shoot them in natural sunshine. .. B) Masking the individual bits that need Saturation is the one idea that I...

    My Neon colors suck...

Here is an original photo (cropped and resized only to fit) ... The second up was/is White, so I typically would set the White Point with that.. The orange, Blue, Green and Yellow are actually quite brite. I am simply unable to bring them up to steam?! Thanks for looking at this.. Jim...

    My Neon colors suck...

I attempt to take as good a pic as I can, then try all sorts of 'Adjustments' and cannot seem to get neon to look like NEON. I am mixing neon color parts with regular colors, so if I do something like oversaturate .. the others get buggered. I have skimmed along the top 10% of photoshop...
