    The purple text in the OP's post seems to have the Bevel/emboss on the Purple color... but the Green Text seems to have Bevel/Emboss on Black outline only.. Good one IamSam :thumbsup:.. I hope OP got the answer intended

    I am not sure if i understood the question correctly, but to what I understand.. Use Esc key twice after you stroke and it would go off... alternatively, to 'Path' next to 'Layers' and delete path..

    Too add to it, after the motion blur - the lines seem to be displaced to the image to obtain the creases and contours and then blended into the original image... Adding the outer glow on top of it

    You are right Inkz, I too use black/white to play with the colors, but I thought the OP was a newbie and gave him a easier option :)

    lxtnsv: The effect is simple. Desaturate the image, followed by Hue/Saturation to add the desired color to the whole scene. And the top it up. To make the black border for left/right side, create a new layer - use Gradient tool with Black to Transparent - use Linear gradient and add the border...

    If you have a lot of time to spend, then use Pen tool... Trace the path you want to show and delete the rest... but your best bet us to make the text layer again
