    Try to draw with a pencil, scan it, and draw with paths... if you don't have a tablet this is the best way to do it manually, if you find cliparts better! (Or just draw in paper, scan and select the pencil with "Magic Wand" and mix it, it would be an interesting result.)

    Hi folks! I don't use much text tool, but it's for curiosity. When I type some word with text tool, all works fine, but when I tyoe a number or a dot in example, it puts in the beginning of the text... TAL (Thanks a lot) :mrgreen:

    Try to duplicate the layer so you have two layers with the same photo, "Gaussian Blur" the bottom layer (Try some degrees) and turn the top layer "blending mode" to overlay, and desaturate a bit... you can "Dust and Scratches" the top layer and then sharpen it.

    The best way for that is to paint it with a set of layers for highlights and shadows (too painted) of course you need a wacom tablet or similar...

    Agree, photoshop is a really great soft, and there is multiple ways to make a job, I have mentioned paths because it's more accurated, but you can use polygon selection, magic wand, painting mask with infinite brushes, use feathers in selections and many other options, only experience tells...

    Seriously, this image is easy to mask with a few anchor points, the "secret" is to do a good tangents. it's not masking leafs in a forest, its a mechanical piece. The points itself are not the important question, it is the point tensions, tangents and subsequent curves what do the job for you...

    If you know to mask, mask the dark or the light zones and correct levels... it's very easy and photoshop can help you. 1 minute, its not perfect of course! :cheesygrin:
