    Wow Lasa, your method is the closest so far, but as doodad pointed out, it needs depth. Which, I think can only be done by hand (not a canned set of steps or an action). I think it's time to go mess around a bit. I'll can see what I can come up with and if so, input any useful tips or techniques.

    Giving away...yippe! :D Realisticly, every year or less you will need to upgrade your computer, depending on what you plan to be runnin'. First they'll have duelys, then multi-core procesors, then super duper kick a duely multi-core, then who knows what. It will come sooner than you'd expect.

    I like it too. And nice drawing, Lasa! I suck at pencil drawing...that's why I like PS :D It would be a challenge to illustrate a photorealistic face, but after some illustrations I saw recently, I think it's possible.

    Good to meet you Illumina! I myself live here on the coast of CA and I love it here. People however make the common misconception that all of California is hot. Only down south is it really hot, but up here on the northern coast of Humboldt county it is very cool...it's even raining right now...

    Cool photo and I like the line. Did you write that yourself? I thought maybe you could tone down the blur around the edges. (vignette) It should only add to the feel of the piece, not distract from it. And one more thing: the photo itself looks fuzzy/blurry in the middle, but that might just be...
