    How to extract individual layers?

This is possible and not so terribly difficult to do either. Ok, follow these instructions: On the new document, select both layers by holding down the ctrl key and clicking on each layer. Select the Move tool (keyboard shortcut V) With all of your layers and Move tool selected, look up at the...

Thank you for the kind words Dreamers, they mean a lot:-)

Animated camera, lights and 3D animation in Aftereffects

The last few weeks have been really busy for me. I accepted a promotion at work which requires me to work 48 hours a week. As if that's not enough, I started back in college. Going for a Bachelor's in multimedia design and development. Despite this, I managed to break away into Photoshop and...

    Livin the life

So I haven't posted anything in awhile and felt bad about it. I started back in college a few weeks ago, and to top that I accepted a promotion at work. So going from 36 hours a week and no school to 48 hours a week and school has left me very little time to do anything Photoshop or web design...

    Tips on web design :

Can we get this in English? I like the layout but I can't read it.

    Tips on web design :

Dw is helpful as it streamlines many operations. But it really isn't a necessity to have. Although I use it myself and am quite happy with what it does, the key to success is knowledge of code. Code, the most basic of which is HTML and CSS, is what makes websites, NOT code editors. If you...

    Tips on web design :

Ok Sabrina, what site are you talking about? Where is the link to the site you're talking about? How can he visit the site if he doesn't know the address? What intention are you thanking him for? I hope this is a bot that I'm talking to.

    What do you think?

I don't know about these. Yes the color compositions work well together, but I have to say that the hot pink is a bit too much on the eyes. These websites all seem to share the same layout structure. Only thing that's changed is the colors and textual content. I do like the graphics on the...

    File Size Conformity

At first I was going to say no to your question, but it turns out that I would be wrong. Photoshop can do this by way of the Save For Web and Devices dialog box. Here's an article explaining how. Amazing, as much as I think I know about Ps, the more I find I don't know about it. Very good...

    First photo manipulation comp

You're right agent, I did use perspective and not skew. I stretched it out as far as I could without noticeably distorting it. Even with the content aware tool, there is some distortion that happens. I wasn't really going for "precedent setting" work here or anything, just wanted to mess...

Having fun with PS and AE

I have two books that come with the lesson files on a disk. They are called Aftereffects Apprentice and Flash for Aftereffects Aftereffects for Flash. I think both are very good as they explain things in both theory and practice. I've also always had good luck with any of the Adobe Classroom...

    First photo manipulation comp

LOL!! My Mom said it reminder her of that song as well. I did skew the bridge a bit to give it the 2-point perspective I was going for. Perspective has never been a strong point with me. Sometimes I can nail it perfectly in my work, other times I fail miserably.

    First photo manipulation comp

Seems like I've been seeing a lot of photo manipulation here lately, so I figured on doing something with some of my photos. This is just a simple 2 picture comp with some masks and adjustment layers applied.

adding noise in edges of images?

Honestly Noor, Photoshop does have animation capabilities but it my experience the results are sub-par with that of the other Adobe applications built for this purpose. With that said, you might want to consider downloading a trial version of Flash to take care of the animation part...

    How to extract individual layers?

Ok, I think I got this right. You want to take a layer out of a image in Photoshop and use it in another document? If that's right, here's some instructions. Open the image you want to extract a layer from. Create a new document with whatever dimensions you want. Go into split screen mode...

Having fun with PS and AE

Hi aniocean, I've been getting into AE myself lately. Seems like every image I make I have to take to the next level with AE. Yes it is true that you're very talented and should show it off. And like everyone else, I had a hard time focusing on the before and after portions of your work...
