Change default color of desktop in PS7

As far as I am aware you cannot change the default color of Photoshop's worksurface.

Reset Pallates & Size and resolution we work in.

What do you mean by "sizing it up"? I've heard this a lot, people sizing up an image or working at a larger size and then reducing afterwards. Given the degradation that resizing does to any image (except of course for anything vector) this doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Could you...

Reset Pallates & Size and resolution we work in.

There is no keyboard shortcut to reset the palettes. However, if you'd like to return the palettes to the default locations go to File > Preferences > General and click the button to reset Palette Locations. I don't understand your second question.

WHere should I look tobuy PS CS Full version?

Sometimes when I order Photoshop books from Amazon, eBay, or Half.com I'll find a burned copy of either version 7 or 8 in the books. I don't know why they send these things with the books. It's weird. I just chuck the disc in the trash compactor and forget about it.

WHere should I look tobuy PS CS Full version?

Personally I think Adobe charges way too much for its programs, always has. Believe me, it's been tempting to keep the dozen or so full copies of Photoshop 7 and 8 that have arrived to me by mail, but in the end it's about ethics. Ethics seems pretty stupid when compared to $700 or even $564...

Recording steps taken during PS session.

Are you sure the Audio Annotation Tool couldn't do what it is you're looking for? It sounds like it's exactly the tool you're looking for.

Hmmm, wouldn't it be cool if Adobe included a New Tool and we all had a hand in it ...... muhahahahaa :D

    Greetings

Welcome bigcloud. Good name. Cloud. That's my last name :) You will find tons of help here for Photoshop, from newbies to old pros, giving advice is second nature here. Remember, no question is a dumb question, so don't hesitate to ask anything you want (as long as it pertains to Photoshop).

You can add notes and audio annotations anywhere on a Photoshop image canvas. When you create a note, a resizable window appears for entering text. When you record an audio annotation, you must have a microphone plugged into the audio-in port of your computer. You can import both kinds of...

    Knock Knock *peeks in*

As a writer this reminds me of one of my old articles, The Death of Conversation, where I wrote: "I hope the modern day age does not rust our rich, historical dialogue to the point where if I happen upon a friend on the street we are at a loss to converse simply because we forgot to bring our...

WHere should I look tobuy PS CS Full version?

Try bidding on an original, unregistered copy of Photoshop and you'll find out fast. I discovered it has happened to a lot of people.

Hi Welles, Photoshop saves every brush stroke, every selection, every anything you do to your image as a state on the History palette (though the state only remains on the palette until you reach the maximum number of states or you close the document). There are three ways to move among...

WHere should I look tobuy PS CS Full version?

Be very careful going to eBay to bid on anything Photoshop. I recently tried bidding on an unopened, unregistered version of Photoshop 7 and I got slammed with a ton of illegal e-mails from idiots wanting to sell me their burned, bogus copies of the program. I spent two days with Adobe and...

    CS won't install :(

I can't offer any advice on PS 8 itself, since I don't have that kind of money to buy such a program. I'm sure someone here will have some info for you eventually.

    CS won't install :(

Well, let's talk seriously ... you can't really knock something if you haven't tried it, and obviously you haven't tried XP because for a while I was knocking the program myself (and I was a tried-and-true Win98 fanatic) and even I have to say XP is indeed the best OS I have ever used. I have...

    Various Tips Photoshop/Design

Ahh, tr?s bon, Ammar! Indeed, recently I had to step back and asses my own personal style. I was strung out doing web sites and coding work and not at all happy. Fortunately, a good friend of mine from the West Coast (ah, thank God for friends!) suggested that I return to my artistic roots...

    CS won't install :(

Just wanted to drop this little piece of advice: If you have the greenbacks to afford Photoshop 8 then it should only be a drop in the bucket to upgrade to Windows XP. Installation problems are far few and in-between with XP.

    Water Ripples

Oooooh, I'm drooling, Erik ...... thanks :righton: Might have to drop a 20 spot and pick that one up. It's by far the best water ripple effect I have seen yet.
