    True, it can be a bit messy. If for some reason I want to make a path from a selection I usually right click on the Selection and choose "Make Work Path" - that way I can use the dialogue box to enter in my settings and try to make it less messy.

    My own experience: you can never get an exact color match because monitor and resolution settings will always vary. The best solution: Always use the Web palette in Photoshop to get as close a color match across platform as possible. A good article to read on this subject is here...
