    Using an image as a brush? (Not sure if the correct wording)

    So I'm trying to convert an image that I have into a sort of brush/pattern, but with color. I don't know if that's the correct wording for what I'm trying to do, but here's a picture of my desired effect. (haha) So I'm trying to get that repeated effect thing. Any thoughts?
