Create brush preset with variable hardness

Sam about covered it. As he said, Adobe doesn't sell boxed software anymore. Once you make the plunge, you'll never go back. (that is, assuming you really make use of the software).

I case your interested you can join Adobe Creative Cloud and get the latest Photoshop and Lightroom in their Photographers deal for $19.95 a month. Two hundred forty dollars for a year ( about what an upgrade used to cost before the CC). I have the whole package that is $49.95 for all the...

    Creative Cloud

I am only running one machine, I do know that you have to sync this stuff in Photoshop within the device but I don't know how it works between different devices. I would think though that your brushes and presets being stored on your hard drive and not on the Cloud would not work that way.

    How to repair this?

Thanks hawk. That is exactly the approach I have taken. Obviously this isn't a color correction issue but a damage issue. I could not figure out a way to deal with it other than desaturating and colorizing it with the colors I can pick up from the original. Yes, an area at a time for the...

    How to repair this?

Fellow members, I have this photo that is in bad need of a repair. The photo has been damaged some way and has this awful green area over a good part of the whole image, including the faces of the subjects. I have tried a lot of the tools I have in my bag but I am having difficulty reducing it...

I run a Dell N5050 with 8gb of ram (max it will take) as my main computer. I have a couple of desktops too but I prefer the Dell. Intel 2.3 Ghz processor on a Windows 7 64bit OS. I also have a Toshiba 465GB usb connected auxiliary hard drive. Not to say it doesn't happen, but I rarely have a...

Hanaa. You would probably get more help and response if you would post the images instead of the links. Your choice though.

Create brush preset with variable hardness

I do believe that's what he is telling you. Notice that the only brushes that have hardness adjustability are the OEM default brushes. I have lots of 3rd party brushes and none of them have hardness adjustability. The default brushes are hard coded by PS when the program is written.

    Restoring clothing in old photo

Make adjustments to your image using Image/Adjustments/Shadows-Highlights. Just move the sliders around until you find something that works. Here is one that is better as it brings out the lost details.

Graphic for printing on the back of a t-shirt

Yes, go to Edit/Convert to Profile. A window showing your destination space to be Working CMYK. Be advised when you do this the file will be flattened. I suggest you do this on a duplicate of the original (Image/Duplicate) to keep your original intact. The colors now appear to be within gamut...
