    or just, ctrl+left click the first card in the layer panel that way you get a selection of the outline of that card. now erase that selection from the last card, so the first card will look on top

    this type of illusion doesnt work in a circle ofcourse, you can just make it like you can place cards in a circle, and slide the last one underneith the first one

    Canvas disappears when using area selection tools.

    verry stange never had it, can't think of something that might cause this seems like your photoshop is bugged a bit reset preferences?
