I'm sure if you keep searching around DeviantArt you'll find lots more.. Search any websites that have Stock photographs, so places like www.flikr.com etc :-)

    Greetings, from Michigan!

There are some decent ones on here but I suggest just look into what you enjoy doing (many good tuts on YouTube also), then the techniques you pick up with always help somewhere else :-)

    Welcome buddy

    Greetings, from Michigan!

I had cs2 before, then cs5. A few handy changes from cs5 to cs6 - obviously the new content aware features are some of the bigger changes but some of the smaller changes dealing with layers are really cool too. How are you finding cs6?

Displacement maps would work for what you're asking. http://layersmagazine.com/displacement-maps-for-graphics-in-photoshop-cs4.html That should help :-)

Complete Newb - From where to start?! :)

What I did was I use tutorials etc on areas of Photoshop that I really enjoyed and was interested with. Once I had learned quite a lot in that area most of the other stuff I could do quite easily because of the techniques I had previously used. Youtube is a great way to start, enjoy :-)

    background bled into model's hair

    1. Just made a selection around the girl, put her onto another layer. 2. Created a new layer ontop and changed the blending mode to colour. I used the colour picker to pick colours of the girls hair and paint over the green. 3. Cleaned up the areas the mask missed with the clone brush. 4...

PS Request : Wheels on car

Selection and distorting to get the right perspective takes up most of the time here. Once I had that I matched the lighting on the previous wheels. Wasn't sure on what went inside of the wheels (where the spaces are) so I just painted in black. Hope it's what you're after. All the best

Making my Supervisor a little Happy

It is, burning would probably be a better choice but I just painted over the area with a brush to show :-)

Making my Supervisor a little Happy

Love it mate :-) Although I'd suggest maybe putting a lot more shadow on the right hand side of HIS body, might make it fit in a little more.

    Photo Manipulation

I think your first attempt was a little more correct in terms of lighting. I think what's throwing the picture off is that the light looks like it's coming from the front of your hand, but there is a massive source of light coming down from the top left, maybe shifting the light so that we can...

    Need help editing a photo,

That better for you? It needs a slight colour change due to lighting to make it look as real as possible, but reduced it for you.

    Need help editing a photo,

Adding just the eyes would be harder than to just switch the head completely. (For me anyway) 1. Took the separate head picture and matched the size of the original 2. The head was slightly smaller so I took half of the original head and placed part of the curtain over it. (content aware) 3. I...
