    I don't think that you can bend using the distort tool. I would go for the pen tool to create a selection with the correct "bend". But on the other hand, I am no guru :) /Moltas

    The pen tool will give you the shape(s) but there are some clever bevels going on here too. perhaps you would be wise to create the bevels on a different layer... /Moltas

    Resizing

    Paste the decal as a new layer on top of the motorcycle. Press CTRL-T to transform the current layer. Now you can resize, rotate, add perspective etc to your decal. Hope that helped. /Moltas

    Just want to add that I find the create-mask-from-channel technique very useful. Go into channels and find the channel that has the most constrast between shirt and background. Copy that channel and enhance the constrast using levels (Ctrl+L). Doing it right will give you a perfect mask...
