    it may be in the type of downloaded image sa well. some of the internet contens are saved as .png images and may be locked as layer. trick is to make rectangle selection, duplicate the layer and dragndrop new layer on the desired position. as well you may want to select "large images" or choose...

    I would recommend to make an action out of all adjustments that you have applied in order to get your desired toning, and save it for later for if you will edit selection of photos this way you'll have them all uniformly adjusted.

    Good photographing is 90% of job done, always have it in mind. if you have waited for 5 minutes for sun to set down it would be the photo that you wanted, even though it does look natural this way. i have few photos I've taken after more then 20 attempts, go out to the site- check the lighting...

    this may help.make your desired selection in shape you want using any convenient toolgoto select-modify-feather and insert desired feathering amount that depends of your image resolution 5 ussualy works with mehit Ctrl+J to make another softened edges layer

    an advice: backgrounds like this are really attention drain, for your focus is anywhere else arround but on the content that is important. second thing, i'm not sure which program have you used to develop it, but htere must be an option for the components, like copy over or clone on all pages...

    i think it is due to specific way indesign operates, when you make your work and include content such as images, pdf or whattever indesign doesn't include them into document but only the reference (pointer or the sortcut)to the existing file on the HDD. so if there is malfunction or connection...
