    Working path color

As far as I know it's not possible. Just do what I do and add a new adjustment layer to add enough contrast/brightness/saturation (whatever is required) to your image temporarily then delete it once you're done.

    Glowing Fist Photomanipulation

Not a bad start. I would suggest that you add the 'effects' on top of the hands/gloves too. This will make it look less cutout and cartoon-ish (unless that's what you're going for). Also it looks like you've just used solid colors to paint over the photographs, try experimenting with opacity and...

newbie needs help with transparent .png file making it darker

Those things won't work as the image is transparent (embedded transparency) so even if you make it 'black' it will still only be a light gray. I'm not too sure about a quick fix but you can get around this buy saving the image again without any transparency then using the Levels adjustment to...

How to set .PNG preferences in Photoshop?

You'll get a compression option if you use File - Save As, and not the 'Save to Web' option.

newbie needs help with transparent .png file making it darker

Could you perhaps be more specific? I don't know what tools you have tried as I don't know which you are familiar with... Also uploading your image on here could help speed things up considerably. All that being said it might just be an simple case of adjusting the brightness to darken the...

    Best Sky Blending techniques??

I have some experience with stitching photos together. I never really liked the Ps auto stitching so I use ICE. It works pretty well and should blend it in nicely as long as you have a decent overlap. Microsoft ICE

How to change colour in existing gradient on an existing image?

You can't. Just name it the same and delete the old one. And for the record I thought I knew what your problem was but now after reading back everything I'm more confused than ever.

How to change colour in existing gradient on an existing image?

I'm not on my computer right now but I believe it's under Layer - new adjustment layer. You could also find it under the adjustment layer icon next to the new layer icon in the layers window. Hopefully that helps.

How to change colour in existing gradient on an existing image?

Since you want to be accurate with your colors add a new solid color adjustment layer above the gradient and change the blend mode to color.

How to change colour in existing gradient on an existing image?

It sounds like you're not separating the different elements into different layers. This is a very important step as it allows you to easily edit any element you want such as changing the color. Once you do this you can go to Image - Adjustments - Hue/Saturation to change the color.

    Re coloring methods help

I personally would use the Hue/Saturation tool and slide the hue around to get the color you desire. In terms of blending in a logo it would be handy to actually see both images but using transform and overlay usually works quite well.

Knocking our a background from a similarly colored object

The background and the object or similarly colored so you'll probably not find an automated option for this. If you use the pen tool, you should be able to quickly trace the object and remove the background that way. You can feather your selection if you're still getting jagged edges.

    Brusspup convert photo to dots

Here's my take on it. The way I did this was to first change the resolution of the image to about 100 pixels wide. Then I increased the contrast about 200% Then I saved the image as a gif, selecting 8 colors instead of 256. (of course you can change the variables in any of these steps to...
