    Plug in folder in CS2

I finally got everything set up in the new Mac and am ready to start adding stuff to specific programs. What I don't want to do in CS2 is put every plug-in and action I have into the PS folders. It just makes the program take WAAAAY too long to open. Isn't there a way, like with fonts, that you...

    Extract tool is bad ?

Aaron, Yeah, I really do think it's better than KO2. What is does do is separate very difficult subjects from the backgrounds easily. Any tool will knockout easy items against a plane color background. The Magic Wand Tool can do that. So far I'm sold on this plug-in. I loved Knockout 2...

    Extract tool is bad ?

I'll tell you one thing, i sure like the way that software looks in those tuts. If it was truly that accurate I would consider it. [slick] EDIT: Update - a few hours later. I just downloaded the trial version of Fluid Mask. Holy you know what! This thing is amazing. I am still VERY...

Very creative, Joy. I love that splash of color in the otherwise green image. Brings you eye right to the butterfly. Kudos

    Another new to Mac/Photoshop question

Yeah, it did, Welles, but I am still so used to PS on a Windows machine (where I knew where everything went) that I didn't pay any attention. I am learning new things everyday about Mac and seem to spend half my time looking for things. I'll get used to it. You know what they say about...

    Another new to Mac/Photoshop question

I guess I should have been more specific. I created a totally new document so it had no place to "go back to." I never thought about doing a "save as" again to locate the files folder. Great idea. Thank you, gentlemen. :righton:

    Another new to Mac/Photoshop question

Where the heck is PS storing my images when I hit "save." This morning was the first time I have had a moment to check out CS2. Saved a test image and couldn't find it. LOL A little embarrassing so be sure. ;\

    CS2 weirdness, resetting preferences?

I've been reading ALL kinds of things about CS2 all over the net. I sure hope that Adobe didn't bring that to market too soon. There has been more than one person saying they have gone back to CS until the bugs are worked of CS2. And to thing I JUST bought the Mac version of that a week ago...

    Photoshop CS2 question

One of the problems for me is that I continually hit the desktop and make PS disappear, then i have to do an additional click to bring it back. That is just annoying the h*** out of me right now. As I said, it'll take some getting used to. As you say, maybe once the learning curve is over I'll...

    Photoshop CS2 question

Hey, no problem, Amigo. This forum was a little slow this morning and I was anxious to find out why my new CS2 had no background. Was not sure if I had a bug in my software or it was normal. Turns out it's normal for Mac's. My question started a mini debate over at Adobe. The pro Windows PS with...

    Photoshop CS2 question

Thanks, tini but that just opens a new window. I was wondering why Photoshop for the Mac had no background AT ALL. Turns out that PS for the Mac is made differently. Who knew, huh? Not sure why that is but..... Thanks for the reply, anyway. :righton:

    Photoshop CS2 question

Never mind. When nobody knew here I posted the question on the Adobe Forum and got the answer. Turns out this is normal for Mac. Go figure, huh?

    Photoshop CS2 question

I finally got my new Mac and have been installing software and getting it set up for two days now. I installed CS2 and opened it to just look around a little. Then it hit me, this program opened without a backdrop. I just have my work pallets and tool bars over the desktop. Is this how it's...
