    For my eye removing text from background and removing background from text are pretty much the same. Same technic only use it "reverse".

    I see it as bug for all platforms. Meaning that color scheme/style not consistency (you get my point). Check threads and input in thread and you see that it's not like this. Avatars are not on "black", gaps between stuff etc. So it's not good for all just for some browser it shows diferent.

    Make Solid Color layer over image with some color (in that case RGB(227,227,219). And set it's Blending Mode to Darken.

    Happens. Maybe try make one pattern per line but narrow. Like 700px width but height for one pattern 150-200px. And some 6-7 of them in one image (one above other) of them

    Resave your pattern at different, normal named place. That what would Brian do :) With method i gave or your own.

    Normal. But too...speckled (or something). That's why i think it's better to keep one pattern per image.

    Okey, now first (what would Brian do :)): 1. Count how many patterns you have. With calculator find best count per line horizontaly and verticaly (kike 5x7 or 6x9). 2.     Go to goole. Enter "Dollar bill", go for images. At right side there is categories for sizes. Choose biggest (that's depends on your language). First one's of that search physical size for print quality is about 15cm to 7cm. More than enough for making cupon, fun etc. It need a little color...
