    it depends on how you want to do it... if you want to carefully paint in all of the details with a brush, then you want illistrator if you want to easily select, and fill each section, then modify them to taste, you want photoshop

    it's actually quite difficult to get a clean separation especially when there is minimal contrast between foreground and background. most of those shots are just taken with a rose literally sitting in front of a black backdrop

    you could try pasting the entire image wherever you want it, then use a layer mask after you quick select it, instead of actually cutting it out, then go into the mask edge dialog, and mess with the shift edge and radius sliders.

    just create multiple layers of glitter in different patterns where you want it, then go into the video function and run the layers looping one after the other, then export it as an animated gif

    how did you make the original circles? if you used the pen tool you could link them together by selecting and end point, and clicking on another near by end point if you just took the parts from a pre-made image, then you'll have to erase the corners sticking out by any number of means, though...

    i think the easiest thing would be to make your design on a 3x1.5 inch canvas, then when your done hit canvas size, and add a half inch both vertically and horizontally so you have a quarter inch bleed
