    Webwize way is much better, since you get a vector mask, and that means you can resize your rectangle as much as you want, without losing quality.

    No, it's too saturated. Make a white/black version of your image, apply a gaussian blur till you get soft edges, than save that file as a .PSD file named displace.     Just pick two colors, like any other gradient, but in your gradient type, choose Radial, not Linear. You can set it up in layer styles, or just click "G" to get your gradient tool, and draw a line in your layer.

    Just one advice. Please, please don't use Comic Sans. It's OK for a birthday invite, not for logo. Also, you could make letter "J" come out of letter "T".

    Make sure your Graphic Card drivers are the latest versions. That usually fixes it for me. If not, go back to an older version.

    Nope, this can't be done in PS, at least I can't do it. I think this is interesting, but I don't see the point in making a new software just for this. Have you considered selling this as a PS plug-in?

    No problem. Again, the same. Images are opened with QuickTime, and I have to buy a pro version so I can download an image. I don't understand. Could you zip just compress result and target? Also, do you have a RAW file?

    I think this is possible if we have RAW files. Also, maybe someone more experienced could play with the color settings. There's a slider for practically any color. I think this is easily achievable in Photoshop. Could you please upload the image to dropbox for instance? I can't save it.

    You could make an action, that automatically does everything, and you only need to save the image. Send me one image, and I'll do it for you. I think it will be possible, that selection part might be a little tricky, but there are plenty of other options. My email is slashskoro@gmail.com

    Copy the selected content in a new layer, and then move it with the "Move" tool (shortcut "V").
