    Hi 1adam-12 welcome aboard. The best way to cut out something like a car in my opinion (well it depends on the background) but the pen tool is a useful source for tracing objects. Here is a link that will teach you how to use it: How To Use The Pen Tool In Photoshop

    Removing difficult backgrounds

    I agree with Hoogleman Topaz Remask 3 is a relatively cheap plug in compared to the price of photoshop and it works right inside photoshop as a filter. It is a great tool to have and compliments photoshop well.

    Create an Underline for Text in PhotoShop 6

    PS6 is before my time in using the software but I would think you will be hard pressed to get much support for it. Good luck though....
