    Iris

:) This is just for a general idea for something to try. I'm sure you can improvise and come up with exactly what you want. Find or spherize/distort an image you could use within the reflection. Here I just grabbed part of an image I'd created and just used the globe which I copied and pasted...

    Iris

The iris looks great -- yeah, maybe try something different for the reflection (maybe even one sorta like the window/car one that was in the other eyeball, that sort of idea could work out well with such a closeup of an eye since one almost expects to see another image reflected within one this...

    Post Your Latest Pictures !

B7 Thanks Doc! Such fascinating times and lives! Thanks, too, for sharing how and a bit about the background behind your avatar creation and sig -- both are such fun. :D The flight simulators sound interesting too...bet that takes some serious computer capabilities. I agree, Welles, the...

    Dust on my Nikon mirror

Hi skyystorm -- I haven't the same model camera as yours so I don't know how much access you have to the mirror, but with my experience with telescope mirrors and lens systems I can only say that the safest way to try and rid the mirror of dust particles is by very very gently brushing it off...

Nice to meet you, too, Doc! B7 Looks like you've an interest in aviation and cartoon/animation?? Cool avatar and sig! :righton:

    Dissing Avatars

:bustagut: :bustagut: Those are really good! AWWWWW and there's lil' Scrat, my favorite animated critter of all time. 8D Hey Sean -- I meant I just was adding my avatar to the list to use...haven't yet had time to play with any of these. :D BTW -- what's the Latin (?) sig mean?

    poser with photoshop

Nice work! Yeah, my favorite would be the face too. :D One idea for the 3rd pic where she's leaning way back, as if in a fall backwards, might be to pose the hair so it looks like it also is falling downwards following with the motion.

    Starfields and Space Imagery Challenge/tute

:righton: :} :} A real beauty Mark!! You know, there really is a type of flower shaped nebula called the Rosette nebula in the constellation of Monoceros not too far from the constellation of Orion, it can be seen with binoculars -- shaped a bit like the opened bloom, and in long timed...

    Starfields and Space Imagery Challenge/tute

The tricky part is the "getting people to work together" -- and getting enough others interested... just from what I've seen on forums mostly people prefer to create their own complete images. The closest thing to what you suggest has been with the old "fodder" threads we used to have here...

    Starfields and Space Imagery Challenge/tute

:D Have any proposals as to how we could start it and how to proceed adding the various items? Give your ideas and perhaps others might join in (it could take me a bit to participate with the other stuff I've got going, but I'd join in). :D

    Amazing 3D pavement chalk paintings

:bustagut: :bustagut: Well, the last time I put chalk to concrete I had skinned knees and played hopscotch! :bustagut: These are soooo marvelous, it must be a shame to see them wear away in their transience with the weather, etc...but thank goodness there's pics of them for the rest of us to...

    Starfields and Space Imagery Challenge/tute

:bustagut: :D Well, with the amount of imagery we have accumulated already putting it altogther into one galaxy and then fitting it into the 600 wide x 800 pixel size and under 100kb might be a challenge in itself! [confused] ;) But like in the film MIB size doesn't matter [innocent] and the...

    "Club Flower" - Photo Manipulation

B7 Cool Doug! If I wasn't told beforehand I'd think the modified flowers were a real species! One thing that could add a bit to the modified petals realism may be to add a bit of the tiny fringed edges around those petals like the large original ones have...just an idea...the club shape is...

    I like colouring books.....

:bustagut: :bustagut: That's hilarious, Sean! I hope missed homework is the most serious danger you ever have to deal with! ;) Welles -- glad to hear you are in a good area there and less likely to experience quake damage! :righton: No wonder the geologists like to stay there. [innocent]...
