    how do i make a face shorter

    When using free transform, distorting is what you are doing. The only way I can think of would be to de-construct the face and put it back together. This will be a very involved process. You`d have to remove a row of a pixel or two, move down a few pixels and remove another row...all the way...

    Ok, this is just a quickie. There`s gonna be some hand work involved. I started with a feathered selection of the overlaid part and a Levels correction to get the colors close. Curves may suit, as well. Then I Clone Stamped the edges left by the selection, and got this :

    Ah-HA ! My monitor seeems to have lost some subtlety somewhere. I didn`t see that at first. It looks like an overlaid grid, maybe. If you create the text and then make a grey and white grid on a layer above it, set to overlay, should get you close. The grid would be similar to this :

    In the Fill Dialog, you can also right click the pattern thumbnail and select Delete pattern. (PS7)

    this discusson sounds really familiar... But it would seem you`ve answered your own question. Define rectangle with Marquee tool. Edit>>Stroke define color and stroke size. Edit>>Fill selection with color. Select Text tool, type text. select Move tool. Move to center.

    Only way I know is some rather extensive use of the Clone Stamp and Paint brushes. Tough one to get right.

    You mean the green shadow ? Duplicate the text layer, offset it a few pixels and reduce the opacity. Or use a Layer Style dropshadow and select green as the color...

    The most "compliant" way to achieve this would probably be to use CSS. All the parameters you mentioned can be supplied with CSS. Just code each button as a DIV and position them in your style sheet.

    why Edges got Blurred?

    I stand corrected on the Snap to Pixels thing. I did not know that. Is there a way to stop a similar kind of pixel bleed in a non-straight edged shape ?

    You can set exact dimensions in the info bar at the top of the work area for the transform box. It won`t snap to pixels, but will snap to guides.

    Resizing for printing on T-shirts

    Only thing I can think of is that I`ve noticed before that when sizing down, if you reduce by an odd percentage, jaggies abound. For instance, if you reduce by 67%, it looks like crap. If you reduce by 50% it works fine. Not sure if that helps...

    Hello! And colour replacement question.

    When you have solid colors like these, the Magic Wand is also very quick. Select the Wand, set the tolerance low (1-5) un-tick Contiguous. Create a new layer and fill the resulting selection with your color of choice. Repeat for the background.
