    B/W If the end result is important I would use Image / Adjust / Channel mixer set to monochrome. A good place to start is R+50%, G+50%, B0%. This give you the most control over the results. Desaturate is quick and painless but tends to be bland or flat no control. Hue/saturation is also...

    about training for CS2

    5.5 to CS2 is a huge step... I personally prefer the books. This way I have them available if I need to do something in particular, I look it up...I can read about my problem at Starbuck, at the beach or in the bathroom its all the same.     Color correction

    This guy I know was showing pictures of his daughters recital, all the pictures were "blue" (a cool effect if you try for it)...Its amazing what PS can pull out of a photo! Done with mostly curve manipulation, using gray and white point. Lasa

    PC or Mac?

    What kind of computers do you all work on? PC / Mac From what I've read a lot of you are Mac users... I personally run on a Old PIII 600 mhz with 384 ram.. What are you all running? I personally can not see myself useing a system that doesn't allow for a right click on the mouse! Whats up...
