    photoshop latest update.

If you're having trouble with the newer version, you can install an older version and either keep the new version or delete it. You can have more than one version on your desktop. I've done that to make sure I'm happy with the updates. Full disclosure - I'm a couple versions behind since I'm...

Paid Suggested changes to the paid forum.

Agree with @IamSam on all points. There's no way to enable some compensation for those projects that just go down a blind alley. And certainly PG shouldn't be the banker for any down payments for work done. Customers walking away from projects is no new challenge. Having come away from they...

    Blurring the background

Just to prove it to myself since I hadn't made use of this method before, I composed both your above screenshots, then used depth blur on Neural Filters for the background, but output it to a new layer with a mask. Then I masked the weeping willow so that the couple and the willow were both in...

    Blurring the background

You can convert the image to a smart object before you edit so you can return and adjust your settings. But there's also options as to how you want the edit to be displayed in the layer stack as - a new layer - a new masked layer - a smart filter - or even a new document The options are in a pop...

    Blurring the background

Another option, since you've already dug into Neural Filters, there's also a Depth Blur tool you can take advantage of. You can choose to focus on your subject, alter your focal distance, and your blur strength. Just play with the sliders to see where they get you... :)

Specific Remove Blur Using Gigapixel AI?

I agree with @Babine - I've noticed that Gigapixel can add a degree of noise into an image that somewhat ruins the purpose. But just to see the differences, I did run it thru Gigapixel but then added a camera raw adjustment and used the clarity slider. Not perfect but in the running.. (*Note - I...
