    Been scanning our old family negatives and came across this picture which has vastly overblown highlights probably caused by the camera flash. I've scanned it at 4K to get as much grain information as possible. Can the darks be recovered? I've had to upload to Google Drive...

    This was the last picture ever taken of my cousin before she suddenly passed away 2 weeks later. Her daughter was doing her hair dye and that's what the black marks were. If anyone could clean it up and remove them and the wet stains from the clothing it would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks guys, those are excellent! I prefer the first image though i do prefer the VHS tapes in the second image, if there's a way of putting those tapes into the first image maybe have the chest opened a bit more to reveal a few more?

    Basically i want his axe changed to a flaming torch (like a stick of fire) and perhaps giving the room a slight orange glow as fire would, and the treasure chest at the end to lay open a bit revealing a bunch of old VHS tapes (all in the same 8-bit style of the image if possible?) Thanks!
