    Logo revision help - thanks!

You may find free help quite hard to get for what I can only presume is a profitable business, though if there is anybody willing to do this, it would be helpful to them to know the name of the fonts used in the logo. Also, are the edges of the star meant to be so rough?

    Get creative

I used the image of a Wood pigeon to map the colours to the grey-scale information of this picture and the coat turned out to be red. Fancy that.

    Adding colour to greyscale images

The accuracy in colourizing the images taken from the MastCam has to be questioned when in the noticeably 'French' words of the blogger, "I have acquired good working protocols and produce images that satisfy me","my compositions with attention to stick as close to reality , or at least to my...

    How do I remove this?

It looks like you have done everything right, apart from adding a new layer in between the background layer and the layer with the mask. On this new layer, you put a new picture of a wall, or just fill the layer with a colour. Then duplicate the layer with the layer mask and right click the...

Random stuff I did in College and anyway megathread! (Pic heavy) (Bit random)

My views of overly abstract art and cheese burger propaganda aside, most of it looks pretty good. I hope you didn't find the nature of the design element of your course as tedious as I did with mine.

    Large scale printing & resolutions

Are you sure the printers don't want an image that is say A3 size at 150 Pixels per inch, so when they scale it up to the required size, it will 10-30 Dots per inch when printed. As stated in point (b) of Tom's post, to need that kind of resolution, you would have to have an image with an...

    Why can't I get colour?

Why are you not starting a new document as rgb, at the correct size and ppi, then dragging the image file onto the canvas?

How to create a mask like that?

I find the pen tool to be the best way of drawing the curved ripped edges, then make it a selection to do the mask.
