    There's a lot that goes into it, but you could try following this tutorial, so you will at least know how to put smoke on the image. Once you have that down, we can give you more instruction.

    Stop deleting things from frames! You do want the text to show through the animation don't you? Go back to a point where you have every image you need for the animation, and one frame with everything on it, but the houses hidden. Create five new frames by clicking on the new frame icon 5 times...

    I think I had a similar problem back in 2004 using Fireworks, but that's back when Macromedia still owned it. Can't remember how I sorted it though, as it was ten fracking years ago. I feel so old, and it's my birthday again in a few weeks. :cry:

    I think they meant that there was something on the layer, but the fill was set to 0 on the blending options, as it is impossible to get an inner glow on a layer that has nothing in it. Just right click the layer, and choose rasterize layer style.

    May I ask, why are you rasterizing? To answer your question though, create a new layer, and then click on both layers while holding Shift, then right click the layers and choose merge layers.

    If they are printed at 38"x32" you will have to crop the image or make it wider, as the width of the image kept as the same aspect ratio as the original, will be about 25"-ish. So I'll just wait to see what your plans on the matter are before doing anything else.
