    Max Payne Cut Scenes

Hanarky! :righton: It's pretty close to the effect that cz- posted, using a standard photo! :) I'm convinced that with a few more tweaks (play and experiment), it'll do the job quite nicely! ;)

    plastic wrapper/candy wrapper

Hey, that's looking pretty good mateo! :righton: Apart from the suggestions already offered (all good ones), I would also suggest that you increase the pureness of some of your white highlights and shadows. This, in itself, will make a big difference.

How can I recreate this ?

    http://www.identifont.com/ ;) Comes in handy when I can't identify a specific font!

How can I recreate this ?

    1. Create your type layer (white) 2. Duplicate and change the colour to blue - rasterize (layer>rasterize>type) and move this layer below your white type layer. 3. Apply the stroke & drop shadow to the top white type layer 4. Filter>Blur>Motion blur (0 degrees) the blue type layer.

need help how to install fonts!!!?

[confused] I'm assuming that you have made a 'typo' shizzle ... a TIFF file is something entirely different from a TTF file! ;) IF, in fact, you've downloaded a TTF (True Type Font) and have installed it as described you must first shut down Photoshop and restart it. This gives Photoshop...

Thanks BlueMonster... I appreciate your commentary! And a BIG WELCOME to the board. :D Sometimes a picture can paint a thousand words... and when I was reading through the directions that I had found on this topic (and your instructions too, Erik) it occured to me that for a "new user" (as...

Upside Down Shadow Effects with Type Image

:righton: shaping up nicely Delphi! The only suggestion that I might make would be to keep your page colours consistent (as you did on the home page)... but then, this is a matter of personal preference! ;)

    Power Distort

[innocent] So that's it...??? Hokey Dokey... I'll wait! ;) [shhh] I'm just not used to having to do so, since installing DSL! Update: 10 minutes later .... still nothing! [confused] Okay, will sit tight 'til your new domain is ready, Stroker! ;)

    Logo on transparent background

My misunderstanding petkum... I didn't know that you were refering to Quark! :\ Yes, as I recall, Quark does indeed handle TIFFS. Unfortunately, I've never had to import an image with a transparent background so I have no experience with it. I did find this information on the net...
