How do you send images to people?

Well scOOt it seems your grandmother-in-law is smarter than this person I am currently trying to send photos to for several days. After failing to teach them how a zip file works I sent the wetransfer link, even explaining that he would need to click on each file one by one.... But still...

How do you send images to people?

How do you send images to people?

Yeah, I am realizing there isn't really any other way to send large numbers of files other than zip. Too many email providers don't allow more than so many MB attachments, and otherwise a browser would need to download 100 files one by one which I am sure it would mess up and lose some files :/...

How do you send images to people?

Hmm, wetransfer is definitely a nice website and will keep it in mind for the future. But unless I am misunderstanding something when you click "download all" it still downloads a zip file. I was thinking to try self extracting files but thought it might get stopped by junkmail/email virus...

How do you send images to people?

As amazing as it is... somehow there is a massive percentage of people who can't seem to open up .zip files... Most of them are obviously on macs or smart phones, but still... cmon this is one of the most basic of file formats... Anyway. Is there any convenient way other than zipping files to...

    Speeding up on windows 7?

Oh sorry, yeah I'm using 64bit, win 7 pro on the laptop and win 7 ultimate on the desktop. And photoshop CC. I know my specs are pretty minimum, but I don't want to upgrade right now. Am more looking to get the most out of what I have, and as the laptop which is almost the exact same specs but...

    Fixing tungsten colour casts?

Finally finished them all... Jeez... I will never make that mistake again.... Probably added about 3 hours to my job :( Anyway in case you are interested here are some before/after, the blonde guy isn't quite perfect but luckily most of the images weren't so bad as that one so I think it...

    Speeding up on windows 7?

I have 2 computers that I use for editing, a laptop and a desktop, both on windows 7 and both pretty slow (around 2.6ghz/4gb ram) but the desktop based on specs should be slightly faster... but it isn't :/ My only guess is because I have a lot more programs installed and so on. But even if I...

    Fixing tungsten colour casts?

Hey, no problem at all. I've actually pretty much finished most of them now anyway. Actually couldn't get your method to work for me but seem to be going ok. The method I am using is to select the colour range then use that to mask a colour balance over a duplicate, then mask that duplicate...

    Fixing tungsten colour casts?

Hmm, so I am trying your method now with 2 different raw conversions but I don't quite get how you only select the orange parts of the hair? Because there are strands of hair that are reflecting more than others it seems almost impossible to do manually by hand (wacom tablet). So I the more I...

    Fixing tungsten colour casts?

Thanks Tom, yeah making two RAW conversions is a good idea that I'd never thought about. Will give that a go. The only thing is I have quite a lot of images to get through so 15 minutes each is going to equal to a fair few hours JUST on that light :( To answer some of your questions: yes they...

    Fixing tungsten colour casts?

I am trying to remove a horrible colour cast from a tungsten light on the hair and skin of a bunch of photos but I've tried a bunch of methods and can't seem to get rid of it completely without spending 15 minutes on each photo... I've tried using hue and saturation adjustment and trying to hit...

    Laggy & crashy computer/photoshop

Ok it just happened again so I have a fresh experience to describe. And more importantly I wasn't using photoshop at the time. I was using photomatix while browsing photo folders in windows, specifically I was in a folder with about 100 raws and 1 or 2 500mb tif files. And everything started to...

    Laggy & crashy computer/photoshop

Well it is very rare, or maybe just something else when the problem happens out of photoshop. Seems to definitely be related to photoshop, or maybe some part of my computer the photoshop is using. I just downloaded CCleaner but not sure what to do with it...? I don't want to lose all my...

    Laggy & crashy computer/photoshop

Well that is what I thought at first too, but it doesn't really explain why even after closing down the file/photoshop the computer is still lagging. Also, since the problem started I am having problems even with 500mb files which were always fine in the past. It also sometimes has problems...

    Laggy & crashy computer/photoshop

I really am not sure what is going on, but it seems to be related to files. The first time it happened was when I was working on an especially large file around 1gb and suddenly the whole computer started to lag to the point I was barely able to save it, mouse would barely move (refreshing every...
