Bingo, that is why I was wondering.

    3D 3D Split Glass experiment

I see, maybe the combination of full resolution & escape with low resolution could give you some information in shorter time. I understand you cannot test just a piece, since it is 3D, but could you ( for example for a texture ) test just a stripe ( probably horisontal in this case ) ?

    3D 3D Split Glass experiment

Looking on chrisdesign's picture with excellent bottom part, I cannot help myself to ask : Is there any reason for red in the legs ? Yes, looks very good, but where does it come from ?

    3D 3D Split Glass experiment

Eggy - I was thinking about it while driving home from the office ( around 100 km mainly highway so I always get the most ideas there ). I do not know anything about rendering, so I may be totally way off, but would it be possible to test the result in the first stages on lower resolution ? It...

Photoshop ( CC 2015 ) rejects it as not valid document. I tried to download three times. Sorry.

    3D 3D Split Glass experiment

Eggy - I really enjoyed to read your post, thank you. Apart of long list of my hobbies ( topped by my horse ), I have to learn Catia a little better now to be able to communicate with architect in house design. Another issue for me is I came to Photoshop to improve my photos not to be an artist...

    3D 3D Split Glass experiment

Eggy - nice work, I think it is again much more realistic. You know, seeing something like this makes me want to try it too, but we all have limited time for our consumption and I would have to take it from some other activity, which is hardly possible, so I will rather watch your nice results...

Illustrator Working with poster sized documents?

Hello, I am afraid if you enlarge the document at the end it will enlarge the grain too. I am not sure this is what you intend. I am sure others will come up with better solutions, the only things coming to my mind is creating grain brush or copy smaller many times with overlapping. Edit : I...

    3D 3D Split Glass experiment

Eggy - I fully understand it is a bit blind work, where you see the result after at least 11 hours ( reminds me on old analog film cameras ;-) ), so any change is a bit risky, plus it may be only my impression, I think it could look better with different base than red, considering the wine is red.

    Hello from me!

    Welcome. Nice avatar.

The wine looks much better, it is a huge improvement in my opinion. I just think the bottom looks a bit strange to me now, maybe a bit darker too or less saturation ? Edit : the wine was interesting before, now I strongly believe the wine is really there.

    3D 3D Split Glass experiment

Eggy - I am in transition period from one laptop to another, so I happen to have two computers right now. In case I have sufficient hardware and you would like ( plus deliver instructions how to do it in Photoshop CC 2015 ) I could try to do it for you during the weekend.

    3D 3D Split Glass experiment

And the "windows" are windows or ceiling lights ? Edit : Sorry, stupid question, it is not a photograph, it is Photoshop created, so it is reflection by 3D engine, correct ?

    3D 3D Split Glass experiment

But it was definitely worth those 11 hours. It looks great and it also let me think, I was confused in the beginning, since my browser showed only upper part, I got it after seeing the leg(s). If I can be a little picky, I find a bit strange that two legs ( near and left ) change color close to...

    Help with removing something, please!

You are right but : A this is where painting starts, that is no more just correction but serious artistic work. B I am convinced even a perfect picture without hair would be worse than the one with hair.
