    @Burned Ice:- Yes, I played both of Ocarina of Time and Majora Mask :) I don't know, I think it would still be interesting to play Resident Evil as to see how it used to be.

    I think you could use the Wand tool to select the background. And after that use the pen or lesso tool to subtract the parts of the pens that was mistakenly selected.

    Good tutorial, I like it. But I think it could be done with fewer steps. Like, I see no need for using gradient for the button itself.

    Try "Fir Screen" mode, the canvas don't move while you drag when you're at it.

    Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles is the best. I found it more enjoyable than the sequel.

    So what are your tools

    I use a 2007 Macbook Pro, it has a large screen and a great keyboard and the touchpad is so accurate that I don't need a mouse(though having it could be useful). I own a Wacom tablet as well, but I rarely use it. Though I may start doing that if the time allowed(I heard about how useful it is).

    Generally speaking, I like your design, specially the logo, but I honestly see no meaning in placing the navigation menu at the middle like you did, some people may be confused by that(because it's not typical to have it there).

    I like it, it looks very good and each side of the picture has a different feel to it. The only thing that bothered my is how the left eye(the green one) looked a bit blurred.

    I think you could also achieve similar effects using Wave and Swirl filters.
