    Blinking cursor

Is it happening only in a mid tone section? If so it is probably the "Smart Cursor" jumping about trying to figure if it should be a dark cursor on light or a light cursor on dark. HTH, Al.

    plugin to create jagged borders

I didn't even notice that it was for PSP. Just a wee simplification of Welles suggestion. After opening the image you want to use as the edge mask: 1 Select All then Copy. 2 In your working image, add a mask. 3 Alt+click on the mask thumbnail and paste. 4 Command+T and scale to fit...

    Curling...

Not far from Oban lies Bonawe on the side of Loch Etive. There stands an old granite quarry. My grandfather and 2,427 men howked up that granite which went on to build half of Aberdeen, pave most of Scotland with cobbles and the wee bits that were left were used to make Curlin' Stanes. :D Al.

    plugin to create jagged borders

No problem, it is easy to save out your own masks for re-use so you can build up your own library. Get hold of some "dirty brushes" or create your own for real customization. Have fun, Al.

    My first public plug: Level3

Any time you like Stroker. No problem. Stu, is that the Graphire 3 you have your mitts on? How do you rate it? I was thinking of replacing my old Wacom 1212 A4 as it only runs on OS9.

    My first public plug: Level3

I'll give it a bash if you like. I have Filter Factory lurking about somewhere. I'll need to trawl for it first. Is there anything else I might need?

    My first public plug: Level3

Pierre, it doesn't appear in the filter menu on Mac so I guess it is not compatible.

    spot color question

For normal offset press printing you only need supply a greyscale file. First check with your printer for the required file resolution, probably a minimum of 300 > 600 dpi. Might as well ask about the best format at the same time. If you have the original CMYK file in non-jpg format then...

    3D free HDRI files

What a nice, generous cheerleader. 8)) Thanks for the link Erik. I think I'll be hogging the bandwidth later on into the small hours. Nearly 60MB on 56k dial-up. [confused] The wires will be glowing in the dark. MsOz, you are just like me, a Magpie collecting totally useless shiny...

Selection Plug-in makes for excellent sharpening (Free!)

I think I must have developed the dreaded Stroker syndrome. }P ;) I was just playing around with that Select Edges filter and came upon this trick. It makes a great photo recovery tool. Use the filter to make a selection, smooth or fine edges. New layer > Fill selection with white >...

    Graphics For Tee Shirts

You should save your file as a .tif or native .psd file for an image type graphic. If your graphic is just "line art" created in Illustrator, then use either native .ai or .eps. Check whether he needs the file in RGB or CMYK as well. If it is a single spot colour, then a greyscale image will...

:bustagut: It's called 'Doing the Shooglie Googlie'. I'll try the PS undocumented later. :B It would be quicker listing the bad tasting one. \:]

    Help: Making A Save Action

Hiya stranger, :D I was wondering about that little problem. How about sticking a 'dummy' file with the 'start from minus 1' in the destination folder? \:] I had a look to see if there was an editable text string but couldn't find one. Cheers, Al.

    Help: Making A Save Action

Are you navigating to the image with your action? If you navigate to the enclosing folder (or possibly select all) you should be able to Batch the lot in one go. The files will be conscutively numbered and then sent to the destination folder. Al.

    Help: Making A Save Action

Someone asked a similar question a while back and I couldn't figure an Action because it involved the finder for re-naming. But you should be able to figure out something from the Batch Rename function in the Browser. You can rename and number a folder of files to a new destination folder...
