    Looks like they desaturated the original image, used levels to adjust the white point, and then use the brush tool to paint in the color elements over the original grayscale image.

    scanning drawing

    When coloring comics we always scan inked art at 600dpi bitmap 50% threshhold. Not sure it it applies to your project but it works for Marvel & DC so it may help you too.

    Problem when Editing Photos

    Photoshop is converting colors on you. Use the Color Preferences to fix the problem. 1. Make sure photoshop and the camera are sung the same RGB Profile OR 2. Make sure Photoshop PRESERVES EMBEDDED PROFILES therefore not converting. Good luck,

    Clone + action.

    I'm not sure if you could do that with Actions or even Scripts. If the spots are in the same place in each image you could make a new file that covers the spots and use an action to apply the patch to each image. Probably a better way to automate this. Not sure.

    eliminate text while maintain background

    Without seeing the picture it is hard to know. Maybe use the lasso to select the areas you want to eliminate and try the clone tool to paint in the surrounding area so it all blends well. Good luck,

    color replacement tool trouble

    Web images have lower resolution and more compression so it is harder for PS to pul out just the area you want. You may have to resort to using the lasso tool to fine-tune your selections. Good luck,
