Top layer with feathered-edge opening
By the way, I do have a 2-layered file with a transparent bottom layer, I just can't figure how how to successfully feather the edges of the heart. I realize this may not be the best way to start.- monelle

Yes, this is exactly what I want. I want to be able to put a photo on the bottom layer and just have it show through the heart opening with a feathered edge. Thank you!!!!!!!!- monelle

Top layer with feathered-edge opening
I am using CS4. I would like to make a 2-layered file, where the bottom layer is blank and the top layer is white and has an opening (say, heart-shaped) with feathered edges. I have tried so many ways, and can't make this happen. Help!- monelle
