    Sorry...........I'm not seeing a major difference. You may have to explain in detail what your after! I do see some differences that you may be referring to........ Normal Outer Glow... White Innner Glow.... Slight blur to text..... Do any of these seem to match what you are seeing?

    Yes Yes No. You will not get the same result as using a layer mask and the Brush Tool. Yeah, the technique used in that video is more or less useless for your situation.

    Yes. Which is why I could not understand why you were getting different results..............now I know why! JPG does not support layers in image files, so of course it will appear the same. Try exporting in another format that does support layers. TIFF is most common.
