    Inking in PhotoShop.

    I have attempted to try and use PS to ink some of my images. What I have been told to do is use the pen tool. I am very competent with the bezier tools as I use Freehand quite frequently to give my images that are scanned the "inked" looked. When I tried to do it in PS, it just would not...

    suggestions wanted

    looks like all that was done was changed the either the hue or contrast of the surround border....it being darker, pushes what you want to stand out, well, stand out!!! If im not mistaken?

    How do you use paths?

    Ren Hewthrowes Tut is very good, I would suggest going through it with a few different pics to get used to it as bezier curves, can be a little trikcy to get used to at first.....but once you do.....its amazing what you can do.

    When using the vector tool in PS 7, if you cntrl click the layer after youve done you will get a marque around the image. (very handy) Now I've tried doing the same thing at home on my version of PS 6, but it does not seem to want to let me do that unless I merge it with a new layer...Am I...
