Pen tool - too much selection

Tom how do I do that? Also, it looks like I may need to cut him out again because he's on the wrong color background. I always loved doing small projects in PS but this project as a whole is killing me. lol I don't feel like I'm ever going to get to the point where I put them all in the website.

Pen tool - too much selection

IamSam I wanted to let you know I'm still working on the glare in the glasses. My brush stopped making any changes so I'm trouble shooting that at the moment. Tom Mann I'm not sure why it was so orange. I don't know if it was a picture of a picture but I don't think so. I think the picture...

Pen tool - too much selection

Hi Sam. Yes I understand that there isn't a need for me to upload the file anymore. I compressed the file, zipped it, disabled my virus software and nothing would let me upload the file?? I am very computer literate and used to be a Network Admin so not dumb about files or uploads. I haven't...

Pen tool - too much selection

Tom I replied to this last night but don't see it here either... I definitely wanted landscape so it fits into it's space on my website. That's about as much of the pic as I can use as the space in the header is limited. You did a great job!! Thank you for the instruction!! :)

Pen tool - too much selection

IamSam I will try to upload again. I'm sorry if I wrote .pst but know that it's PSD. A pst is a mailbox file. lol That's what happens when you stay up working all night. Check out the attachment I added here. I do not have permissions to upload PSD files. :(

Sam I can't post my .pst. It's not in my "allowed file types". Do I need special permissions to post?

Pen tool - too much selection

IamSam thank you so much!! After going through this post one-by-one I am just now seeing this again. I was just in here a little bit ago and have never seen these and only saw the post above it despite reading through all 3 pages?? I don't know when you posted these but they look fantastic...

Pen tool - too much selection

I was able to use the pen tool to get an existing picture onto another background that will blend in with my website. I would like some direction with taking the glare out of the glasses and notice the green tint on his shoulders. That came from the lighting in the room reflecting the green...

    Need Advice/Help on big project

IamSam one part of the project is the one you and I worked on. I want mine to somehow look like the sliders I showed on danielamoateng.net. I need for mine to look as good as that but don't know how to get them to look that good. This is for a professionally built website so the bar is raised...

Pen tool - too much selection

I tried the pen but couldn't figure out what everything was. I am going to try to find someone here to try to cut them out for me if I'm still having issues. If not, I'll have to take another look at the pen. I just think I'm not photo designer savvy enough to know what any of the tools in...

Hawkeye I did not see this post until now. I came back to look over the post responses to see if I missed something because I'm still struggling. I will try this. Thanks!!

    Need Advice/Help on big project

I have a project building sliders for my website. However, in the past week I've found a couple of things to be a bit difficult and have a couple of differents Posts going already. I want to take a normal size picture and reduce the size a bit then put a gradient over the top. I am supposed...

Pen tool - too much selection

I'll give it a try tomorrow. I'm not great with the outlines and such. My hands are a bit too shaky for it. :) I'll definitely come back and let you know how I make out. You're definitely a pro with this stuff. You're eagle came out great!!

Pen tool - too much selection

I tried using the magnetic lasso tool but I definitely wasn't good with it which is why I stayed with the pen tool. If there is a better way where I'm not chopping up the round part of my logo that would be great.

Pen tool - too much selection

IamSam how do I take the icon and put it on the blue background without making it look so chopped up? Once I got it on my site it looks terrible.
