    I'm not sure I understand your issue..... can you try to explain it a bit more? Are you saying that when you first create a mask, it shows up with some white and some black parts? That would mean you had something selected as hawkeye said. Try making it without a selection, by pressing Ctrl+D...

    There's really a lot of ways to do it. Are you trying to cast light on an object/person.... trying to put some lighting effects in the background..... trying to light a whole scene....? It's hard to help unless you are a bit more specific. You can see a few different ways I did some lighting...

    My quick reply always has a dark BG with white text... it looks good to me. I don't even have one of those "A/a" buttons..... Using Chrome browser here.

    How can I warp only the lower part of text in Photoshop (image exmaple)

    Maybe it is the font I am using or something... but when I use a lot of negative bend on Shell Lower the top of the letters does get warped slightly.... and it doesn't work that well with longer words.

    You can turn on logging of the steps you take in PS with the method Steve suggested. If you don't have it turned on and you want help re-creating some changes, post the before and after pics.

    Normalize level for multiple pictures

    those pictures look very similar or even identical in terms of camera placement and what you are photographing.... so I would ask, what did you change? The lighting or a setting in your camera... or did you edit them differently in Photoshop? I think Steve is right, if you want to get them...

    Thanks for the replies, I'm happy you guys found this useful. @psIloveyou - I don't think you can change the color in my action, but you can easily create a new one with any color you want. Just go to the actions panel and twirl open the little triangles next to each step on my action to see...

    This is an interesting question. I think there must be a way to do it while keeping the text editable. I know it can be done in Illustrator, but I don't know how to do it in Photoshop. I am going to search around now. If I find anything I will post it here.
