Hey guys, not been here in a while, I got a job as an instructional designer intern so I've been busy :o Anyway I've been learning how to use Captivate at work so I thought, why not start making Photoshop tutorials with it :D This first video isn't very complex, it was mostly just to try out...

How to fill a rectangle with gradient color

One way of doing it would be to create the rectangle in any colour on a blank layer then double click the layer or right click > blending options, then click gradient and select the colours you want. A bonus to doing it this way is you can easily change the gradient later.

Breaking Bad Season 4 yellowish effect skill

You should make the edges around her face a bit darker so she's more defined. You can do this using the burn tool and you could also add more highlights and shadow to her face using the burn and dodge tool's.

    Adrift On Celestial Seas

Here's another piece I did this morning. I was trying to find another method of creating a galaxy/nebula and I got a bit carried away. I only made it at 500x500 since I wasn't planning on creating a new scene so I might remake it sometime.

    Adrift On Celestial Seas

I've updated it. I've redone the asteroids in 3D and I think they look a lot better now. I've replaced the galaxy as well but I'm still not happy with it so might try some alternatives later. Also, are the background stars too bright/too dim? On my laptop they're really bright but on my...

    Adrift On Celestial Seas

I used to make a lot of space scenes a few years ago but I wasn't very good then so they weren't that great, but it was fun and a good learning experience. Anyway, I thought I'd make a new one since I'm a lot better now and I'm pretty happy with it. Everything was created using the...
