    All I use now is the FontBook that came on board but I had downloaded a couple different font editor programs. Just recently dumped them all, think that might the issue?

    no issues with this file or duplicating the effect, got to 40 with no problem. so it's not my graphics card. I use the entire CS5 Master Suite and have had no problems ,besides a little lag, with any of them.

    I did try that already. as well as checking all my fonts... looks like I can create a new file with no problems. but opening an existing file crashes photoshop instantly.

    I have NEVER had an issue like this before. As soon as I open an image the program shuts down!( Of course, I have a backlog of work that is all due ASAP and I can't do ANYTHING!!! If there are any kind souls that can understand what this crash report is telling me and how to fix, I would be...
