    Well I can tell you I simply duplicated the layer to preserve the original and went in with a custom brush to paint out most of the damage in the detailed areas. I used the healing brush on the the less detailed areas. My secret weapon(chuckle) if it can even be called that, is a hard,square...

    Thanks dv! I censored the title myself, so the forum filter shouldn't have to. The design was a little of the dodongos over the years and a lot of me hating the giant chameleon look they have now. :)

    That was my reaction first time I faced King Dodongo in Ocarina of Time. Trying to express some of the emotion of fighting something that big for the first time with nothing but a glorified knife.

    Agreed, I've done it myself. I know people are trying to be helpful, but it ends up destroying self confidence with too many suggestions. No matter how may time you fix something, someone always had another little tweak they think you should make.

    For me Andrew, It always helps to have a story behind an image. Ask your self, why am I looking at a mountain sitting in the middle of a desert in the middle of a rainstorm. Is because there is cool lightning in the background? Is it because maybe there is an interesting animal/animals coming...

    I agree with Paul that it looks possibly biological in nature. That being said, I also know that our eyes are trained to see familiar things and without seeing the object in question move on video, I will have to say that it's most likely pareidolia.

    I think it's pretty damn cool! The horse doesn't bother me, if it's supposed to be reminiscent of a heavy metal album cover, half of those don't make any sense either. A lot of them consisted of a bunch of random, evil looking, crap.

    Time lapse usually IS to show the progression of things that take too long to view normally. That being said, each frame of that film is still basically just a photograph, and this photographer just thought outside the box and made a really striking image.

    I suppose a good guess would be a mix of maybe time lapse and Photoshop for enhancement.

    It looks like some sort of time lapse photography to me. :) (and I choose to spend your two cents on a shiny new piece of candy bought from that nice trench coat wearing man man on the corner.) :bustagut:
