    Hi! what action are you trying to play? Is it an action made for a 8bits/channel, and RGB document, or a pixel layer? Are you trying to apply that action on a text/vector layer/adjustment layer/ on a high bits CYMK document?

    And... do you have a graphic tablet with the pen lying on it while you are using a regular mouse? Re-installing should only be done after a deletion of the preferences: it cures way less problems.

    Welcome to PsG! 8)) You could maybe manage that using automator? see http://www.completedigitalphotography.com/index.php?p=339 for some examples. I think that VBs cannot go "outside" the application, so applescript might be the way to explore as well.

    Yes, it runs fine under rosetta... http://www.barefeats.com/quad13.html You'd have a future proof machine, FY07 is not so far away, anyways. And if you are not happy with the speed, get a windows license, and a Photoshop windows running under boot camp...
