    My Brad Paisley tribute

Thanks. There's a long boring back story behind this photo, but suffice it to say that I had the idea and was trying to get home before dark to shoot the car with my camera. I wound up locked out of the house with kids in tow. So when this photo was taken last night I was locked out and the...

    What did I do?

Just want to revive this thread to say I discovered my previous original errant keystroke this morning: Spacebar + F It seems to toggle through a few background colors.

    Need Help w/ Smoke Effect

That's amusing. :) I agree with the suggestion that you alter the tansparency at her back. It will sell it more. Look at how real smoke forms. It actually doesn't appear until above it's source. example:

    Critique please

All good points from everyone, thanks. It also occurred to me that adding some dust elements may help. I may do that this evening. The dino model is actually about 5 inches tall. The background scene is from my office window.

    What did I do?

I have a minor disability and sometimes I hit key strokes that I don't mean to. Somehow I bumped a key and turned the background (the area surrounding my projects) black in PS. Can anyone tell me how to revert back to the default grey? If so, thank you so much.

    Noise and sharpening

Hi all, I have low-light photo taken at 1600 iso and I'd like to de-noise it and sharpen it a bit with high pass. Will it matter which comes first? Thanks.

Dodge Charger, asking for C & C please

And you're egging me on (in a good way). I really appreciate the tips and help. I'll revisit this again this weekend because I want to earn that SHOWROOM status...:mrgreen:a

Dodge Charger, asking for C & C please

OK, I'm liking the results I have now much more than the original post 24 hrs ago. I added smoke to the leading edge of the tire, added a second layer behind the car to imply smoke from the far rear (unseen) tire, filled in the wheel well a bit more and tweaked the skids some because I didn't...

Dodge Charger, asking for C & C please

More homework from you guys - thank you. I'll work on those items this evening. This is a practice exercise before I attempt a friend's Corvette. Anyone care to share the basic steps I'd go through to lift the front end?

Dodge Charger, asking for C & C please

OK, I doubled the smoke with Ctrl+J, gaussian blur to the rear rim, and managed to create some semblance of tire marks. Lifting the front end...? Not yet. Keep the comments coming... ORIGINAL IMAGE AS PHOTOGRAPHED: CURRENT WORK IN PROGRESS:

Dodge Charger, asking for C & C please

I had the smoke higher, but it looked fake. :( I will keep toying with it.

Dodge Charger, asking for C & C please

This is merely a practice exercise, I have no attachment to the work. The car was parked (obviously since there is no driver) I sharpened the car, added motion blur to the BG, added the tire smoke, radial blur on the front tire, desaturated everything, and darkened all windows. (Not...

    Fun Photoshop Request

I think the main thing to really sell it is that the original photo appears pretty warm, but the dragon images are all pretty cold. Average the two, and it may work.

    'Accidental' coloring in.

    I agree with Paul.
