    Yeap displacement map is nice and so is modeling but I can't waste so much time now, I thought a quick tip in drawing will solve the problem since the images are quite small.

    Hi, A long time ago when I did VRML I used Photoshop for the render and if I'm not mistaken ( cause it WAS a long time ago ) - it was with the help of Stu that I made the waves with Photoshop and this is how it looked like : Anyway, since I do 3D I still use Photoshop for some renders...

    I think the problem is that the metal is not shiny enough, but on the other hand it's got too much white areas . . . I need to test it in the game environment cause then he'll be much smaller and maybe look better :D Ran
