    Do you like...

lighten-up her skin-tones just a bit... the bright area on the wall, right-side/barrel, pulls your eyes away from her... her white top, should be the brightest thing there, to be believable... lightening her in general, would help, as you lost her hair into the background... with the background...

looks like a Gaussian blur, that has been gradated... from both sides... not sure what you mean by transparent effect... the shapes in the blur, is just part of the image... the more you blur something, the more it spreads... not sure... what I am supposed to look at in the landscape image... advice please on wacom Intuos vs Cintiq for a newbie

well... if $350 was steep for you... $999, and $1999... I think would be out-of-the-question... retouching on a Cintiq... is a pure Joy... but, I own the same Intuos as you... I am not a painter/artist... a photographer/custom printer, so a Cintiq would be over-kill for me... I do my own work...

Need your expert help on a PhotoShop related question ...

again... with a simple exif data viewer, you can tell when the image was taken, which camera... how it was processed... and if it went through PS, and the number of history states... if you get an image, with no exif data... the chances are very good, that someone wanted it not to be there...

Need your expert help on a PhotoShop related question ...

well... if he is using a digital camera, that data would be there... unless... they "chose" to remove it... any image can be built/rebuilt to your specific requests, using PS... cannot alter raw exif data info, only remove it... just giving you an option, to verify the image...

    duplex printing help

OK... the printer does this... when you set-up the print job, on the printer, using the printer's lay-out software... you have a two page document, page #1 on the front, page #2 on the back... this is set-up, at the printer... I worked at a Kinkos, we used Acrobat PDF files... easy for "most"...

    duplex printing help

it is not PS that makes this choice, it is the printer... you could also set-up the job in Adobe Acrobat, but, still need a printer that prints on both sides... go to your nearest Kinkos, most of their printers will print on both sides... again... it is the printer... not the software you use...
