    Hi all, Is there a name for this background effect (ie the flower)? I can get this kind of look using the brush tool but if I start with any random image such as this can I make it into this kind of background? Thank you :)

    Thanks I tried the smudge tool. Maybe I am doing it wrong but it seems to mess up the background. The best method I have tried so far is to use the spot healing brush tool (content aware) where it works and where it doesn't work (ie makes a mess) to select a clean patch of background, new layer...

    iDad, thanks for your reply. I have managed to change the signature from black to blue (file attached) but can you please tell me how I can get rid of the blue background so I can have the sig as a png file with no or transparent background? Normally I would select the area I want to keep...

    Hi all, I have a png file of a signature like the attachment. I want to lose the white background and change the signature colour from black to something else like green or blue. Any suggestions please? Thank you :)
