Color problems in photograph after SAVE AS jpeg?

In photoshop, you will want to go into Edit > Color Preferences > set your default to North American Pre Press 2. And leave everything checked. What I'm assuming happened is that the image in question was in a profiled space, and upon opening your current settings probably overwrote the color...

    Removing redness from facial features

Uploaded with ImageShack.us Add a curve adjustment layer, go to the mask to the right of it, select all, have black in your background pallete, delete. Now it should be filled with black instead of white. Paint with white @ opacity of around 25%, with a soft brush > 0% hardness, that is...

    Color matching via replace color

If this is printing I'd color correct using cmyk. Forget HSB. First thing i'd do is make a good selection of layer 2, minus the shadow. Apply alpha mask to layer to mask out shadow. What you can do if you still want a shadow layer is duplicate this layer, apply mask, double click on layer, go...

How do you make a career using photoshop?

Maybe I should have clarified better, but I already do work in photoshop for a living, a full time job. I don't know if you misunderstood my post since you're quoting me or if you are addressing the general public? I'm going to try and edit my post because I never come out and state that..

Hello! I'm new and i need help!

It would help if you uploaded the Hi-Res photo. These are @ 72 dpi and look like junk. These won't be printable at even 6x8.

Copying layers from one file to another ???

IDontknow if this is your problem but when dragging and dropping from one psd to another hold down the shift key. This keeps proportions the same and placement as well!

How do you make a career using photoshop?

This is sort of off the beaten path of this exact topic and this thread is dead but I make a living in photoshop. Not necessarily as the graphic artist everyone expects but I do consider myself a graphic artist. I got lucky enough to land in a job where I work a full time job setting up and...

    Critique please!

My suggestion would be to get rid of the very large out of focus letters. It just seems to add unneccessary chaos to the picture and is very distracting which pulls away from the main focus of your image.
