Is it possible to develop presets for Unsharp Mask in PS CS6?

As Nem has said my friend, why bother? Every image varies and thus USM would need tweaking for each image. Presets for this seem a bit pointless in my opinion.

Trying to create a political/regional map with colour overlays and tomfoolery.

Indeed, forgot to add that bit about selecting your brush size and colour before you use the Stroke Path. Thanks B

Trying to create a political/regional map with colour overlays and tomfoolery.

'If' I understand what you're asking correctly, you are wanting to clean the lines up then the best thing I can think of right now is the Free forming Pen Tool followed by 'Stroke Path' Open your document up in Ps, create a new layer above your image and then select the Free Forming Pen Tool...

Optimal Files/Sizes to provide a Photo Printing Place

I always start at 300dpi just in case. There maybe a time in the future you want to print something and 300 is optimal.

How to make clothing creases show through design?

Displacement Maps is definitely the way forward with this as C and Clareby have said. Saying that, sometimes you may need to manually add creases. I always desaturate the crease source layer, adjust the levels to make it really contrasty, I find this gives better results. Save this as map.psd...

Optimal Files/Sizes to provide a Photo Printing Place

Increasing the dpi from 150 to 300 normally decreases quality for me. I make sure that everything I do starts at 300dpi just in case. Use your crop tool with the dimensions you need, set to 300dpi and see how it prints. Also make sure 'Borderless' printing is enabled in your printer options...

Can anyone help me obtain this effect or artstyle ?

There are lots of products that can help you get something like this. There are various filters on Photoshop that too will achieve this. Filter>Filter Gallery>Poster edges (maybe) to see what can be done using Photo-shops filters. Play with the settings in each. Also check out Topaz for some...

Wanted to share my excitement :D

It happens Jess and I dare bet you will hear back from her in time. Better to screw yourself over than for someone else to do it. Never underestimate or under value yourself. That's a trend that happens far too easy, been there, have the t-shirts. Stand you ground, she will be in touch

Go into shadow properties and change Distance and Size. You can get to the extra setting by actually clicking on the words Drop Shadow in case you didn't know.
