Hi, need help with action.. Or automation...

I might be over simplifying this, but you could just apply the layer style from that tut that you linked to your text on top of the brushed metal background.

    photomanipulation rock chick

You could start by giving the floor some perspective, and feathering the edge of the spotlight a bit more. The guitar cord is flying around like crazy. Maybe you could let the cord drape on the floor and go behind the chick? Try experimenting with resizing the guitar. Keep going!

Did a quick collage of colors for you. The bike being black, had very little shape in it. especially in the front half. Could get better results if the bike had some more light on it.

You're lucky that the buildings have good source areas to pull from, although I could see the church at the bottom being a little more complicated. Would it be possible to...

I like that you are trying multiple approaches. I do however think that you are asking quite a lot out of that image, theres just not a lot to work with. When working on images like this you have to stay within the restraints of the image quality. Don't try to make it look better than it can, I...

Hello, this is my first post here. Any and all input is appreciated. This image was a request from a family member, just a general restoration. Starting from an 8x10, this image was pretty heavily discolored and had some blotchyness and tears. I have spent around 4 hours on this image over...

    Greetings from the mild west.

Hello everyone. I've been working in a pre press house doing retouching and color correction for the last 5 years. Prior to that I spent some time working in photo labs doing much the same thing. I am interested in sharing techniques and feedback as well as finding some people that enjoy doing...
