    thanks guys. i'm not sticking with this sky. i want something closer to the skies in the first two of the series and this isn't it. dropping a new sky into the .psd file is a quick 30 second job, finding the right stock will take much longer..

    not sure if this will work (can't try it myself atm) but make a layer and add your fx. then make a folder and drop your layer in it, add a second fx to the layer.

    Sensation White Web Layout

    it looks very nice. my only (very small) complaint might be the size of the banner at the top. it looks good on most screens, but might fill up smaller sized monitors or tablets.

    using blend if may or may not work depending on the image and exposure. but if it does work then it's a very quick and dirty way to change the background. make a new layer, fill it with your background. duplicate your layer with the fountain pen and move it on top. right click on that...

    hard to say without seeing a photo but if you want to keep it as an image document try using blend if. right click on the layer with the white (if everything is in one background layer either unlock it or duplicate it and hide the bottom layer). choose blending options from the menu that pops...

    Print size.

    take each side and divide by the ppi for the size in inches. if they aren't photos people will be scrutinizing up close then you might be able to get away with 200 ppi. all of my commercial prints are done at 300 ppi.
